Customer Success Representative

Location: Canada – Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Success Representative that will ensure our clients have a great experience with SparcPay by responding to their questions and helping them resolve any operational issues. This will require an individual who has strong communications skills, enjoys working with people and sets exceptionally high standards for delivering customer satisfaction.  

The Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Manage and respond to incoming support requests which may come in through email, phone or chat
  • Diagnose issues which may include operator error, environmental issues or technical problems
  • Triage support tasks as they come in
  • Log support tickets by utilizing our CRM
  • Build relationships with key clients
  • Assist in customer onboarding and training if required
  • Be the voice of our clients to Senior Management by collecting general feedback
  • Pitch ideas and strategies to advance SparcPay’s vision for the future

The Requirements

  • Well versed in the use of web applications, including interactions with browsers and mobile and desktop operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, able to analyze data and systems to diagnose and correct issues
  • Excellent telephone and email communication skills
  • Efficient at multi tasking and well organized
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to enjoy working patiently with customers that may not have strong technical skills
  • Ability to synthesize data and provide feedback to the product development and sales teams
  • A positive and energetic personality willing to go the extra mile to satisfy our clients

Nice to Have

  • Previous customer service experience
  • A background in FinTech
  • Experience in a dynamic startup environment
  • Experience utilizing a CRM (HubSpot preferred)
  • Bilingual English/French

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience. This is an entry-level position but comes with great opportunity for advancement.

Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Toronto, Ontario

About the Role

We are looking to expand our development team to help us keep up with the rapidly growing demand for our products and build the next leg of our platform. We’re looking for a grad from computer science, engineering or an equivalent program with at least 5 full years of experience as a full stack developer. We’re small and appreciate everyone on our team! Join us if you want to work independently and make things happen. We’ll look to you to speak your mind and lead your development of new features from ideas to production.

The Requirements

Our technology stack includes Angular 8+, Java (Spring boot, JPA etc), AWS, MongoDB and a growing set of productivity and test tools to help us move faster. We are looking for someone with experience and interest with most of the following:

  • Java/Spring Boot/JPA
  • Swagger
  • MongoDB
  • AWS (E2, Beanstock, S3, Route 53, Amplify, …)
  • Angular 8+ development
  • HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/Material etc.
